Long Island Reads

Due to last week's flooding which affected the meeting room at the

Riverhead Library, the Long Island Reads Suffolk author venue has been

changed to the Hampton Bays Public Library. The time will remain the same: 1:30-3:30 on April 13th

This year there will be two Long Island Reads author events, one in each county. Candice Millard will appear at the Plainview Old Bethpage Public Library on Tuesday, April 13th at 10:00 AM and at the Hampton Bays Public Library at 1:30 PM. on the same date. Ms. Millard will discuss her book The River of Doubt, answer questions, and autograph copies for attendees. Copies of The River of Doubt will be sold at both events. Up to 4 tickets per person will be available VIA EMAIL ONLY beginning at 9:00 AM on March 15^th. Ticket requests for the Riverhead event should go to tickets@suffolk.lib.ny.us. Nassau has graciously agreed to accept requests from Suffolk residents who prefer to go to Plainview. The email address for the Plainview event is tickets@nassualibrary.info. Ticket requests should include your name, home library, # of tickets, and contact phone number or email address.
